Korean Chicken Lettuce Wraps

These Korean Chicken Lettuce Wraps are bursting with flavors of soy, sesame, and gochujang, creating a deliciously spicy-sweet chicken filling. Topped with crunchy peanuts and wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves, they make for a light and satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon gochujang Korean chili paste

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots

  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts

  • Lettuce leaves, for wrapping

Instructions:

Set aside some time to mix together gochujang, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and soy sauce in a bowl


Put the chicken slices in the sauce and set it aside for at least 30 minutes


Put vegetable oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat


Put in the chicken that has been marinated


Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, until it is browned and fully cooked


Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside


Put shredded carrots and sliced green onions in the same pan


For two to three minutes


Add the vegetables back to the pan and toss them with the chicken until the chicken is warm


On top of the chicken mix, sprinkle chopped peanuts


Use the lettuce leaves as wraps to serve the chicken mixture

These Chimichurri Burger Bites are a tasty and filling snack or appetizer. They are full of protein and tasty spices because they are made with quinoa, black beans, and chimichurri sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked quinoa

  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup chimichurri sauce, plus more for serving

  • Mini burger buns, for serving

  • Optional toppings: avocado slices, lettuce, tomato

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper


In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth


Add the quinoa, breadcrumbs, red onion, parsley, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, and chimichurri sauce to the bowl


Mix until well combined


Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet


Bake the patties for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are firm and lightly browned


Serve the burger bites on mini burger buns with additional chimichurri sauce and optional toppings, if desired

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet


Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour together in a bowl using a whisk


Melt the butter and mix it with the white sugar and brown sugar in a different large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy


Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well


Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing only until everything is well combined


Add the chocolate chips and chopped dried fruits and mix well


Place round tablespoons of dough about 2 inches apart on the baking sheet that has been prepared


After the oven is hot, bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the middle is still a little soft


After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down


After they've cooled, you can enjoy these soft chocolate cookies with milk or your favorite hot drink

Egg-Stuffed Breakfast Taco

A mouthwatering breakfast taco filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, sautéed bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. Perfect for starting your day with a burst of flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 small corn or flour tortillas

  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers

  • 1/4 cup diced onions

  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Cooking spray or a little oil for cooking

Instructions:

Put a nonstick skillet on medium heat and lightly coat it with oil or cooking spray


Add salt and pepper to a small bowl and beat the eggs


Add the beaten eggs to the pan and stir them around a few times to make them softly scrambled


Take it off the heat and set it aside


If you need to, add a little more oil to the same skillet and saut the diced tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers until they get soft


You can heat the tortillas in a pan or the microwave until they are soft


Place some scrambled eggs on each of the two tortillas


Then add the sauted vegetables and shredded cheddar cheese on top


To make tacos, fold the tortillas in half and put them back in the pan


Warm them up and melt the cheese for about one to two minutes on each side


If you want, you can serve your egg-filled breakfast tacos hot with salsa or avocado slices on top

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups beef or chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional

  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Put the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish


Cover each pork chop with the seasoned flour mix and shake off the extra


Put vegetable oil in a large skillet and heat it over medium-high heat


It will take about three to four minutes per side for the pork chops to brown on both sides


Take the pork chops out and set them aside


Slice the onions, bell peppers, and garlic and put them in the same pan


Cook the vegetables in oil until they are soft


Some more seasoned flour should be added, and the vegetables should be mixed together


Whisk in the broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and cayenne pepper if using one tablespoon at a time


Bring to a low boil


Add the pork chops that have been browned back to the pan and cover each one with some of the gravy


Cover and cook on low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, or until pork chops are soft and cooked all the way through


Put the pork chops on top of rice or mashed potatoes and pour the tasty onion and bell pepper gravy over them


Add some chopped fresh parsley on top, and enjoy these tasty pork chops!

Spread the rhubarb slices on top of the almond mix


Put raw sugar on top of the rhubarb slices


It should be baked for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the tart is golden


Let it cool down a bit before you serve it
